I had a monitor on for 24 hours. It does make you rather careful about what you get up to and when.

When I got to the pub afterwards there were two WMRT members partaking of an Ale ! an expedition doctor/GP and the other a Paramedic. They had a defib in the car so I had all bases covered.
Actually I am amazade just how many runners have contacted or spoke to me who have had this condition.
Lots of people have minor heart defects, but when you throw in high mileage training, interval work and a race or two each week, they tend to get exposed quickly and often.
It's nature's way of telling you to ease off a bit.
