I felt like I went OK at Old Crown Round, clocking 7:13, but compared to the winner's time of 4:14 this only yielded 30 points, so nowhere near any improvement on my July counter
Salt Cellar tomorrow should hopefully see an improvement on my "runt" score of 38...
oh, and just booked a cottage on the Llyn peninsula for the Slug Family hols at the end of August, so Cnicht is going on the list! :wink:

Well, despite being dog tired, four days on from the Lakeland 50 my legs felt ok and I did Gribdale Gallop. Jim Bulman won it in 47:56 and I finished in 01:06:11 so I got 62 points but haven't beaten my previous July score so I'll stick with that. Have a couple possible races coming up in August but definitely Guisborough Grunt on the 14th.
Hi, Daz - sticking with my July score, as Holme Moss was an unpleasant trudge under a cloudless sky!
Looking to get in a couple of races in August before heading off to France, having searched in vain for some continental trail-type activity!
I will mainly be sweltering at Hellifield Gala & the Turner Landscape before over-indulging on biere pression & baguettes.

Have a good holiday later this month, Daz. My score for July wasn't improved with Goyt's Moss or Lakeland 100, and not sure Gravy 6 would have counted because it's too much of a trail race.
My races for August so far are Cracken Edge, Long Tour of Bradwell, Eccles Pike and Tour du Mont Blanc.
Are cough cough park runs allowed? It was off road
