Steve might need to take a red one of your hands to go with the shocking pink - I am sure you forced me to buy that one!
PS good to see you in Keswick on Saturday. Hope the ride back to Castlerigg wasn't too hard.

INVITE TO FELL PONYS;NEW RACE - Heptonstall Festival - Saturday July 9th - AS (6 miles / 1500 feet)
Following the success of Heptonstall Fell Race in March a group of Calder Valley and Todmorden Harriers based in Heptonstall have been asked to put on a fell race for Heptonstall Festival. The challenging route starts with a quick run up the cobbles to the top of the village, followed by a steep descent to the Blue Pig. After the steady ascent to High Brown Knoll you turn tail and head back the way you came. Race starts at 11.00; Village gala, food stalls, music, and beer kick off at 12.00. Should be a great day out. Entry on the day (£4). Large car parking field (£1). Full details and map; www.heptonstallfestivalrace.org.uk It would be great if Fell Ponys could join us – see you on July 9th ?
Hi all!
Not sure when my first outing will be I'm really just training at the minute. Can anyone recommend something easy in the Rochdale area?

Im coming into running from a long distance walking background. Recently been doing some walking around Naden reservoirs and the wind farm. I can run about 2-3 miles at the moment, so once thats built up I'll have a go at running some of the Rochdale way.
