The plane seems to have had the opposite effect than was desired. The media and fans now appear to be backing Moyes...Brilliant news. ;)
Good weekend for Liverpool. Starting to think we might actually have a chance to win the league. Need to win all our remaining games though, particularly Chelsea and City and Anfield.
Arsenal did us a favour by turning up. Crystal Palace an even bigger favour. Mourinho knows how to talk rubbish for a living though.
Even nicer to see that Man Utd are completely irrelevant. Time to get used to mid-table obscurity for a few years.
Liverpool have so far been lucky
Not with their football which has been excellent but with Suarez staying free of injury and being very consistent in his play and goal scoring. Without him for periods I think they would be around Everton's position and Brendan Rodgers will need to strengthen his team for next season to keep the challenge going when the injuries strike. You only have to look at the injury lists for Arsenal, Everton and Spurs to see the difference in the Top 3 and Top 6. I think Liverpool are the best 'team' in the Premiership but they have some tough matches against City and Chelsea and a returning Aguero and a rejuvenated Silva will take some stopping!
Suarez gets my player of the season award though providing he doesn't bite anyone before it ends of course
Alf I think the fact we can draw at Liverpool and Everton puts us in a pretty strong position. And that's if Liverpool win every one of their other games. I think we'll both probably draw or lose a game more than expected but the fact we have a slight cushion AND incredible form which very few are actually talking about means I am pretty happy with where we are.
Don't forget your first aid kits tonight at OT...could be a massacre..:p
If the other 9 outfield players played with the same committment to the cause as Rooney we may be in with a chance. Stating the obvious I know - keeping the ball, passing to a team mate, being patient/disciplined - too much to ask for ?
Another footballing lesson, can't be long now before they score.
Barcelona given a 14 month transfer ban by FIFA, can't make any signings until summer 2015
Stuart Pearce to take over as Nottingham Forest manager at the end of the season on a 2 year contract
3-1 to the frogs over abramovitch's lads.
Game on.

Massimo Cellino wins takeover appeal
This could just be the start.
Chelski back on top of the league and Dale still top of their league (alphabetically  )

Just noticed how much the Fulham manager Magath looks like Penfold from Danger Mouse ;)
Cause you don't tell em about the tides.

It's a nice place for a run when the tides out. Here's a few photos from our club run across the bay
Great pictures Richard and all appearing to have a good laugh and a bit of fun.
well sunderland are down by the looks of it at moment it was alright when both were in different leagues
stagger just read your quote totally agree
Good result for Liverpool that and can't wait for the Liverpool v City game next week. Big Sam blaming the loss on the ref but probably everything evened itself out on the day.
Tim Sherwood to be replaced as Tottenham manager at the end of the season. Louis van Gaal 5/2 on favourite to be the next manager
I liked Sherwood's enthusiasm and his willingness to take risks, though sometimes he was a bit naive.
It might take van Gaal a couple of seasons to get the team going according to his c.v. but would he be allowed that by Daniel Levy?
Hughton sacking was an obvious gamble by Norwich that the "new manager effect" might get them enough points to be safe.
Well done Chelsea
I didn't give them much of a chance believing PSG would at least get a goal. Probably why I don't bet
Sherwood was too outspoken.. he was on a hiding to nothing.. the way the top 4/5 are now you cant sack for one bad season. look at Everton, they could have sacked Moyes when he had bad seasons but he eventually got them stable in that top 6/7..
It'll be interesting to see how they go, reliant on loan signings..
Mourinho is class, you have to like him. It's actually pretty open, I'd make Bayern or Madrid favourites but everyone seems to be tumbling so quite fancy Chelsea to do a Chelsea..
Bayern had won the group...
I think we can go through but would say its 70-30 in Bayerns favour..
