Trev i stay on the main road to Cockermouth then hit the sheep roundabout turn left pick up signs for Loweswater its quicker than going via Whinlatter xx

I did, but i was in the Volvo that year. I'm rolling Eastern Bloc again this year so there's always the chance i might break down on the way to Loweswater! The old grey brick is sporting a tuned 1300 engine now though, but unfortunately i've discovered the fuel tank is full of seeds and grit and flies and just about everything that shouldn't be there, so fingers crossed! Anyone for a lift :w00t:

See, I know I shouldn't have looked! MWIS description of Saturday .... Winds southeasterly, 40 to 50mph, gusts to 80mph. Walking or any mobility very difficult from fairly low levels upwards. Ferocious gusts very likely. Severe wind chill.

Every weekend I've had on the fells (which is most of them) since the so called summer ended has been cracking weather despite the forecast so it'll be great. Shorts, vest and sunglasses packed.
