4 miles (6.4 km) or so yesterday through largely untracked snow, with snow falling for some of the time. After more overnight we have 4-6 inches here (sorry, 10-15 cm) which is a lot for these parts. So it's another snow day, but I really need to catch up on some work so probably won't get out.
7.5 miles and 1300' in the snow. It was slower going today as all those trippy bits I try to avoid were covered in snow and I didn't manage to avoid them all http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/t.../rolleyes2.gif
Exhilarating run though with the snow still falling http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/t...ebit/Cool2.gif
5 miles on skis in 2 sessions. Better snow today, finer grains and colder.
3.5 miles round the fields etc. near my house. 3" of snow but safer on that than in the car tracks on the lanes. Not much ascent :-(
13km, about 400m climb in the snow from sheffield out to Wyming Broom and back.... Snow at least a few inches throughout, and over my knees in places.... with a couple of km of knee deep in the middle. Made a run which is usually about 1hr10 last 1hr35 but much better.
30minutes in hotel gym (usual mix of stepper, bike and treadmill) plus 150 squats
Crazy 8.25 miles, in very deep snow, over Baildon Moors, up to Dick Hudsons Pub (didn't call in) & up on to Bingley Moor. Then came back via the Millenium Way Relay route & down to Weecher Reservoir, Sconce Lane, Baildon Moor & Trig Point & gratefully back home. Not too sure how wise I was going out in that on my own, but thoroughly enjoyed it. The Talons gripped & slipped in equal measures.
St Pancras to Wandsworth about 9 miles!
Too icy to bike to work so ran/walked back permitting 11m. Hopefully on the mend:thumbup:
