Am I the furthest distance pony? I'll not be able to attend many of those reces but I'll see what I can do :)

To be honest Stef, you are the only one who has committed i would need at least 10-15 folk to say yes and they would have to give a donation of say £5 each for trophies, so i think it will just be me running the series then again i am no where near being able to race yet so it would just be my Dog Bosun!
i honestly don't mind sorting out all the stuff but pointless if its just me xx
it's possible I can make Chelmorton and Arenig Fawr, but not 100% atm...
if we add Gravy Pud, I will deffo do that one and contribute to trophy fund
ooh! and what about Pennine Bridleway Relay again next January? I don't mind coordinating that one...

Just in case all else fails.....if more than one Fell Pony runs Heptonstall I will definitely present a spot prize to the first one home
I am too rubbish at running Amex, otherwise I would :o
Amex
It may just be that the majority of Ponies haven't seen it yet?
I'd contribute to a trophy/prizes regardless of whether I can make it to any of the races and having not the remotest chance of winning anything. It's nice to belong to the group and encouraging a bit of competition is no bad thing. I cancelled my road club memberships and don't belong to a fell running club - I only have my FRA membership and pony status these days.
Maybe a list of ponies and pony email addresses might be a good idea for an occasional group communication? I know there's a website but I'll bet there's ponies who don't look at it regularly. (I confess I don't even know where it is!!!)
My next race is the Saunders, I'm doing it with Sam my youngest son, he's 14. I'll bet he'd love to be a pony but a medium vest would fall off him - he's a good head height taller than me but has not broadened out yet!
Stef
I'd hope to do 3 or 4 of Amex's listed races, but maybe one-offs such as the Heptonstall or Daz's suggestions might be a way of testing uptake before committing to a full championship. Given the anarchic nature of Fell Ponies, the majority will always do the unexpected. That's presumably why they/we joined a club with no rules and no official members.
I'll post you a fiver. How about Tanky's going on the list?
I'll post you a fiver too Steve;)
Amex, may I respectfully point out that your mailbox is (still) full? I keep getting a PM bounced back.
