Car Parking arrangements
Please car share wherever possible.
The pay and display car parks at the Village Hall and the Railway station will be available for use by runners, upon payment of the appropriate fees.
There are two FREE raceday car parks available to runners, which marshalls will direct you to upon arrival in Edale itself. The earliest arrivals will be directed to the car parking area beyond the Station. This is 2 minutes walk from the Village Hall, is hard-standing and will be filled up first.
The second car park will be used when the first one is full. Marshalls will direct you to the access road leading to Shaw Wood Farm where the farmer, Mr Andrew Critchlow has very kindly made a field available, as last year. Please follow the marshalls instructions as to where to park. This car park is closer to 10 minutes walk from Registration in the Village Hall.
To recap, those people arriving in Edale early will be parked closest to the Village Hall, those arriving later will have to use the car park furthest away - now there's an incentive to be there to register and kit check in good time!
