Re: Today's Training
Saw that one Rob. Must be him. Sad end to the year.
Man flu has stopped me from training for 2 days now. Managed 1429.5 miles in 2010. Should imagine I'll be pretty similar again next year. Doing the usual long ones at the start of the year. Then planning on taking my 10 year old son to as many of the BOFRA races as possible.

Re: Today's Training
5 miles done last night, middle 3 at sub 6 min/mile pace (on the roads though). Tough workout, legs were pumped afterwards.

Re: Today's Training
Did this year's Suffolk County Champs XC route in Ickworth Park - 7+ miles - a bit dull compared to a fell/peak route but still rough underfoot in places and nearly 600ft of up in total.

85 minutes of quick running along part of the Rossendale way above and around Grane rd reservoirs, included quite a few hill reps. Very icy in places.

Re: Today's Training
Moz's birthday race, with others. Desperately slow and even with a little wandering over the top of Kinder. Not sure of my time as it was bad. 2.30 possibly. With GlenBorrell, Grimmer, GreenFlash, Tall Paul and a few others
12 miles. 3000ft

Re: Today's Training
10m cross country from Horsforth up to Otley Chevin top and back (1500ft climb). Great run, tested my new inov waist pack (not that I needed it today) and found it to be excellent if a little pricey. Also saw 6 Deer whilst out, 3 near Chevin lodge and another different 3 in the narrow strip of woodland that joins Gill Plantation off Dean Lane. Amazing, I've only ever seen the odd one before now so to see 6 in one run made my day.
