Sad News
Dave Boden... (Bod) passed away over the weekend.
He was a major player at the OMM (A "twat in a hat" carparker for 20 years) and the Anni Waltz for 12 years.
A member of the Boley Scout group, he was always up for a challenge - remember the "mobile marque" at St Mary's Loch? Never again will a marque walk across a field and up the road, armed with a red flashing light with quite such aplomb ;)
He will be sadly missed by organisers and runners alike.
Lost but never forgotten - we love you to bits Bod.

Gutted.
Never met him but you've just described him like a legend.

Re: Sad News
Spent many happy hours sliding slowly under pub tables with Bod and the rest of the team. The AW and KIMM will never quite be the same again.
Sadly missed Bod. Hope you find that vodka in the sky :D

Re: Sad News
Our Bod, a great friend not known for his driving prowess, spent more years than I would care to remember drinking beer, parking cars, serving soup and walking marquees with him sometimes all at the same time!
He leaves us all with some great memories of the years gone by....Don't even get me started on Flicker bars at Low Ray camp site, you realy had to be there.
I am sure in his own inimitable way he will be telling them in the next life where they have gone wrong and how it shoud be done! closely followed by "Mines a Stella!"
A friend for more years than I would care to mention, gone but not forgotten, he will be sadly missed by us all.
Rest in peace mate.
Ian, Alex, Sam, Oliver & Ruby.

Re: Sad News
Arriving at the muddy KIMM/OMM car park on a dark and wet Friday night will never seem the same again.
