No sign yet! Keep looking longingly at the postman (NOT in that way!) but nothing this am.
Will the print be large enough for everyone in the latest edition :D ?
It's not gone out yet, but assume it will do fairly soon (I've just paid the postage which has to be paid in advance).
Hope they don't take any notice of that nonsense about size of text. Better value for money if the writing's small. The writing's just right in Runners' World but it's rare that anything in it is more than fluff.
I've recently finished doing a bit of proof-reading on the mag.
As far as I know it is at the printers.
SM ;)
It's just arrived. Time to settle down and read it!
Yes:) :) :)
My younger son Matt (10) says it smells nice!
Well, well, well Mrs Stagger has her name in the mag on more than one occasion. No wonder she was so keen to have a scan of it.
PS
I'm proud of her:)
it hasn't arrived in stanbury yet
Nor this end of the midlands.......I await the postie tomorrow, questions need to be asked.
Its a thing of beauty. Well done the Mag Team....and who the hell are those ugly ponies cantering across the page??:p
Mine arrived when the postman finally got here at 4pm.
Arrived safely in semi-rural west Leeds-now off to read all 150 pages:)
it's made it to Shropshire today:) Nice one folks. Do I detect slightly larger print than last time?
It's a fantastic magazine....so much packed in...i cant wait to read it all!
a huge thankyou for the time, effort and thought gone into this again :)
WOHOOOOOOOO
I wish I could read it!!
I can read.... it just hasn't arrived :D
Postpeople should work Sundays
Clearly on the secnd rung of importance for deliverary. You must be a commiite member|
committed - perhaps! :D
Mine arrived Friday. Is now read.
Lovely picture of a certain young man in it!!!!
it really is an amazing publication
i paid £3.70 for trail on friday
the fellrunner is worth a fiver at least , it amazes me how some people dont think joining the FRA is vaue for money.
i think reg baker's 5000th clougha pike epic is excellent :)
Reg is a top bloke. I have bumped into him on a number of his 5000 ascents of Clougha. He is also usually to found handing out mars bars somewhere between Red Burn and the summit at the Ben Nevis race.
I did have to have a word with him one year though when the tight bastard was only handing out bite sized bars:D
Borrowed it off a mate, first time I've read it, impressed and I'll join the FRA just for that as it's worth it for the subscription.
have any of you read Summit?
Looking at them the BMC Summit mag and Fellrunner must be about the 2 best magazines out there in the outdoor mag genre, way better than Trail, TGO, etc IMO. Any plans to sell it in shops or at least on line, or do you think it would affect FRA membership? The BMC mag is also only available to members (as far as I know), but I reckon that would sell well too.
I have not got mine what is going on????????????????????
Again, really well put together. A very professional job! superb photo's.
Well done Britta.
Has anyone else noticed, however, there is a glaring ommission - I've never known it before in The FR, never mind any other mag !!!!!
No letters page... :( maybe no-one writes these days ?
SM
