Belmont Junior and Trial Races
The revised times and age classes for the junior races and the Marco Germanetto trial race are in the race update section. The youngest junior races start at midday.
Ignore the information about start times in the link in the FRA announcement about the Marco Germanetto race.
The senior race time is also altered slightly.

I shall be there, so that's the two of us!
-
Re: Belmont Junior and Trial R
There will be a mini village fair on the day, with cake stalls etc, so bring some loose change.

I will see how the land lies with Mrs BJ, get back to UK 11pm tonight. Legs feel almost better now - managed 3 miles on Wednesday.

Re: Belmont Junior and Trial R
The Wycoller tribe will be there. We've decided to do this rather than Wray on Monday - nothing to do with the weather forecast.

Re: Belmont Junior and Trial R
Good to see a few people from the forum today.
Another excellent race, thanks Dave.
Not the best of runs by myself a minute slower than last year :(
-
Re: Belmont Junior and Trial R
Yes, good to see so many from the forum. Brummy John flew in from Germany especially. Everyone was moaning about their injuries beforehand of course but he came up with the Wurst excuse!
Good to see the return of Big Bad Baz. I improved by 9 minutes on my last effort here but he still beat me!

:D You should have introduced her to us all.
I always enjoy this race and today there was the added pleasure of a large slice of chocolate cake and cup of tea in someone's front garden.

My cake detector is very finely tuned :D.

Re: Belmont Junior and Trial R
Twas a good afternnon out. I liked the village fete atmo., stalls with home made cakes, locals with their garden furniture on the front, second-hand books on sale. The weather was great too and at 146 finishers a healthy turn out.
Swoop thought up that Wurtz joke in a millisecond on the start line, pure genius! He beat me by 1 place on the final run in but i'll be back ...

Re: Belmont Junior and Trial R

-
Re: Belmont Junior and Trial R
I photographed the results so if you let me know your name and rough time I can confirm the exact time and position.

Any results yet ?

Re: Belmont Junior and Trial R
I thought they would have published them by now. I have tried searching Google and can't find them anywhere.
-
Re: Belmont Junior and Trial R
Results were sent to Brett by email several days ago. Presume there must be some sort of problem. Email me at [email protected] and I`ll send them direct.

Re: Belmont Junior and Trial R
A copy of the full Belmont results is posted on the Rochdale site, thanks to Dave for providing these (requires Excel).
-
Re: Belmont Junior and Trial R
I receive a huge quantity of mails. It might well have gone into the junk mails!
I do try and get results up fairly quickly.
If this doesn't happen please get in touch.

Brett
No criticism of you. Thought there might be a problem with Excel and the macros
-
Re: Belmont Junior and Trial R
Dave someones just pointed out to me the note on the results.
We may have to raise the entry fee as United Utilities are wanting to charge us around £100 for a permit to race on Winter Hill. I shall be taking FRA advice on the matter.
This is a joke, as though UU don't make enough money!!
As a race organiser myself on Winter hill, keep us posted.

You could always ask United Utilities to sponsor the race and contribute to the charity.

Exactly what those of us who opposed Thatcher's water privatisation knew would happen eventually.
