Lol you beat me to it! :)
Hmm its debatable, it is the second time he has been 'caught', and this time they've really nailed him lol!!
Game over I think.
Can't see this being responsible for his loss of form, when I graced the North Manchester Sunday League in the 1980's I always played with increased confidence if I had copped off the night before.
Were you married, had copped off with a prostitute only for it to appear in the papers? How big were the crowds that would rip the p**s out of you?
I wonder how long he's known that they knew? Heard a rumour to this effect before the world cup.
Apparently Alex Ferguson had an 80's theme party for his players, Giggs arrived in a Cavalier, Scholes arrived in a Sierra & Rooney chose to come in an Escort.........:D
£10m according to this article:

Whats the matter with these Footballers. The one I cant get my head round is Crouch the ugly observation tower, cheating on the lovely Abbey Clancy. Why have sausage when you have steak at home.
My mate text me about this story just after England were knocked out the worked cup, not sure where he got his info from - possible from the Refs circles that he is in - the papers agreed not to say anything for a 'period' of time to 1 - not disturb the England camp (that did not work), 2 - not to distract Rooney (that did not work either) and 3 - to allow him to talk to his missus first about it and be fair to him.
Rooney and half the players are idiots and deserve all the bad press they get. They also deserve to be dropped by sponsers and the national team - they think that they are bigger than the team and the term 'loyalty & pride' means nothing to them - tossers.
He's free to do as he chooses. It's his life he's worked for what he has. If that's his choice then it's down to him. I can understand his actions.
Yes I'm with you Daz, The guy's a footballer(alledgedly) and thats what he's paid to do, who cares about what any one does in their private life not me. If he does anything on the pitch thats wrong then hang him out to dry like they did to Cantana, they should have done the same to Kean as well.
This thing with William Hague another example of a non story.
There's a definite pecking order in 'man sleeps with woman' stories. A very peculiar British disorder.
Whats he playing at eh.
Disgrace!
She should have gone to Specsavers.
Because at a particular moment in time, the sausage was more enthusiastic than the steak!!
I remember at the World cup shouting at the telly " Rooney you fat useless lump, you couldn't score in a brothel "
How silly do I feel now ?? :D
Ruddy footballers:
Over-paid, over-sexed and over here.
like catholic priest, footballers should be chemically castrated and tagged.
one of the red tops claims rooney had to pay an ugly tax. hell, how much would carlos tevez have to pay?....maybe £5,000?...more?
i have to disagree with you on this ian. there are two totaliy diferent issues here. one is a footballer who has cheated on his wife and is of no importance what so ever other than titalation.
the second is of great importance to the people of this country. i have had suspicions of hague for a very long time and i am not surprise to read of his gay affair.
if the allegations of hague are true (i believe it is) then as the tory toffs stand on a family values and law and order ticket, they should be brought to book for the lies and fiddles they commit. these people are liars and hippocrates. how can we trust these people to run the country when they lie and cheat. politicians should be squeaky clean and incorruptible, a bit like el che or chico mendez.
Nice bloke that Mr Hague, went to Wath on Dearne comprehensive. He bought me a pint after I won the Snape 10 trail race in 1990.
No time for curtain twitchers, though.
PS. Your second paragraph is extremely libellous. You may wish to reconsider. It's not as if this forum is a very big pool, unlike some of the world's nuttier websites.
since when is it libellous to have suspicions or not to be surprised to read it in a paper?
your first paragraph is bollocks. hague, a nice fellow?
Oh well, you can lead a horse to water...
noel i think you are miss judging what i have said. it's nothing to do with it been atory, homosexuality or my dislike for ALLpoliticians.
it is of no concern of people of who is having an affair with who, but with people who stand for public offices they have to be clean. ifhaguewas single then it isn't important for the papers to publish who his partner is. but he was married.if the papers are correct then he lied to his wife and how can we trust him if he can lie to her.
if it wasprescottthen i would laugh my tits off. i hate him more than i dohague.incidentalthe labour party is full of turds just as much as thetories.
in fact it is the labour party who wants to pry in all aspects of OUR lives, more so than thetorytoffs.
guyfolkeswas right, kill them all.
sorry how the post looks, no time to rewrite, have to go and watch grandson play his first game of footie
The post looks fine, john, says alot about you. I especially liked the coloured crayons.
I reckon you're a wind-up merchant. No single individual could possibly have a glass so empty, apart from the residue of bile at the bottom. (Or if you did, you'd probably have to be a whole basket short of a picnic, maybe a blanket and a parasol , too.)
Who won the football?
I reckon you and the Foreign Secretary would have a whale of a time, what with your well-balanced Weltanschaung and all. Have you had the good fortune to meet him?
But was he morally right to choose to 'allegedly' cheat on his pregnant wife like that?[/QUOTE
It always amazes me how people are so obsessed with celebrities . Whether it's a footballer or a movie star. I'm the type of person who if lance Armstrong was sitting at the table next to me I would respect him and grant him silence.
Who cares
You ask me whether he was morally right. Well as like any man or woman that's cheated on the one they have married. They have done it and that's it. I don't think morals come into it. Some men have in them them that they cannot stick to one woman. It's actually how men are wired. To reproduce. It's a natural instinct. It was there long before marriage and morals came into the fold.
If you want my personal view. If I was earning say£200,000 a week. Could I stay loyal and not stray. Can't say that for sure I could be honest and say yes. Could any man. The pressure someone like Rooney lives under must be immense.
sorry roy, no coloured crayons, afraid old boy. problem with the spell checker.
i have read many of your post and i believe you to be a bull shitter. you did this, you ve done that and you ve had that. you seem to know hell of a lot about nothing and it's all bollocks. typical army i presume. when you enlist they take your brain out and forget to place it back again. well, you can lead men to slaughter but you can't make them think. have you tried getting out and meeting real people instead of sat by your computer all day?
no i ve never met the foreign secretary, why would i want to meet a politician, roy?
oh by the way, they lost 6-4. good game for 7 year olds.
