Great 1st race at Scout Scar, must have been 100 runners in the Senior Race and loads in the various junior catagories. Well done Helm Hill Runners should be a good series.
Yes, great turn out. Any results yet?
None as yet but usually turn up on UKRESULTS a day or so after.
Not there yet or on Helm site - checked 10 mins ago.
I echo thought of thanks to all Helm Hillers for putting the race on. Cheers :)
p.s. Getting me headtorch savings in for our Owl races Grifter! Gonna be fun!!!
p.p.s Don't tell "dame tons" about the "Naked racing" thread will you...you know what he's like...:o
I've just emailed them to UKResults so should be up there the start of the week.
That's a point, I'd better send them to the Helm Hill webmaster too. I'm sure he'll post as soon as they are available.
Thanks to all the Helm helpers today, it made things run very smoothly.
I dont think "stone mad" needs any encouragement to get his kit off. By the way i could be timekeeping for that event as er indoors says theres no way i am doing that. Must be something to do with showing off !
Here are the Ladies and Juniors results

Fairmile KWL is now a no dogs venue. The hefted sheep are pregnant and the farmer has requested that there are no dogs also could people not park in front of gates and finally please park prettily and without causing any damage to the sodden verges.
Good do at Whitestones today. Not as big a field as at Scout Scar but there was a bit of sunshine about and the initial hill was good. Have to wait for results to find out where I came.
Sorry but you'll have to wait a little longer for this week's results as I'm busy (not too busy to check the forum out of course) sorting out my self assessment tax form. You lot won't charge me 100 quid if the results arrive late, but they will!:eek:Quote:

Fairmile this weekend, probably one of the best of the league, no dogs and please park prettily, let's keep the landowner happy :D
Any news on todays race.
Yes...it had a blooming big climb right at the start!
And one in the middle too!
Great weather for a really nice race. Cheers Helm Hilliers :)
What a fantastic day for the race. Just posted the results here:

Next weeks race in Barbondale is even steeper
Bad luck Sam. It was one of the best days you could have wished for at Fairmile. But we always seem to get hail, rain, fog or snow at Barbon. It'll certainly test your ankleQuote:
