Hades Hill Race info?

I've not found a contact address for the Hades Hill Race (Nr Rochdale). Is it just a turn up and race event?

Apologies, I'm new to the scene!

I've seen that. Any idea if they insists on all runners carrying waterproofs etc?

If i can remember from last year, 2 quid entry and loads of spot prizes for the ones like me who aren't quiet fast enough.

Oh well, I won't be doing it now anyway. The calf injury that I thought I'd got over about a month ago re-appeared this afternoon -whilst sat in the office:mad: :mad: :mad:

I think I must be jinxed whenever I enter an event....:rolleyes:

The route will be a little different tonight because United Utilities fenced off part of the course a month or two back. Nearly lost my crown jewels climbing over it.

The course was exactly the same length as last year, 4.6 miles. Blue skys again, good turn out and loads of prizes. Looking forward to seeing the results (although I didn't have a great run).

That i would imagine is a description of the old Ashfield Valley Flats....where the expression the University of life was very true. :D

Keith spent a season at Morecambe a few years ago. I think it might have been his last season playing before he retired. I hope you are not including Shrimps reject and Jimmy Saville lookalike David Perkins as a finely tuned athlete:D

It could be 2 trips to Rochdale within a few days for me next April because the Steve Rothwell road race is usually around that time isnt it?

Perks is so finely tuned he is now 6 foot 2 and 12 stones according to official RAFC website:)

Caldershaw direction. Quite enjoying the change of scenery. Got chased by a teenage girl with feathers on a piece of string while out running last week. She was trying to tickle my legs. An odd experience i must admit.

You'll be OK in Caldershaw, there's plenty of off roadruning on your doorstep.

Have you found the old Railway line that takes you to Cowm reservoir yet? :cool:
