Pages not updated yet for 2012, but I think it is 7th October - I'm sure someone will come on and confirm.

Cheers.
Is there a problem with the website?
My Internet Explorer says "Connection problems"; my Norton says there's a security problem.
Site's not letting me on (using my mobile) either. Anyone know what time races start as I'm trying to see if it's viable as a day trip from Rotherham
The site is identified as a bad site and I'm warned against going ahead. Does anyone else have this problem?
There is certainly at least a malware virus on the site which has locked my PC. Now cleaned by IT support but beware!
Anyone thought of emailing [email protected] to make him aware?
I have checked the website for malware and cannot find anything. The site opens in all my browsers. The links to videos and images no longer seem to work and will be taken off soon.
The money side of the entries is handled by PayPal. All that is held on the esfrc website is the details of the entries, not payment details.
Please contact [email protected] if you have problems with rather more detail than has been posted on here - which isn't a support forum for the esfrc website!
Entries are now open. The first entry was accepted within a couple of minutes of the notification email going out.
Symantec was blocking access to the site through firefox and problems with IE too - can't even get in via a proxy server
The esfrc website is back up, but entries are not open at present. They will come open tomorrow, Thursday am.
I have tried to enter the entries site today and recieved an email to authorise my account. I activated this only to then be told that my account had not been authorised fully. I will contact web master but there are obviously difficulties with this site!
The esfrc.org website is back up and entries are successfully being processed.
The website had been hacked, which is what has been causing people problems. I am very sorry about this.
The hack was that a file had been altered to make the website redirect to another. The site has been restored and the file removed. It seems to work now on all my platforms, with the exception of Safari on my iPod Touch. The error on the iPod is that you have to use "esfrc.org" rather than "www.esfrc.org".
It may be that you still cannot get to the website. If this is the case, I suggest you follow this link to a page that gives instructions on how to reset your DNS details. This worked for me, but I can't give any guarantee it will work for you.
Thanks for your patience and I look forward to seeing you entries flooding in.
Don't forget, enter by Midnight Sunday 16th September 2012 to get a T-Shirt.
Thanks
As I have said before, this is not the support site for the esfrc website. It is not helpful to have messages like this on this forum as it makes my job that bit harder than it already is.
Several other people have registered and entered runners without any trouble. I responded to your email about this matter as soon as I received it, but note that you haven't tried to log on since then.
Bear in mind that everyone involved in the organisation of the ESFRC is a volunteer and doing this all unpaid. I am doing my best, but if it is not good enough, then I guess I won't do it at all!
No problem. You have all week before the T-Shirt deadline expires.

I was still having difficulty on all my computers (5 I've tried) so I took a punt on bypassing the front page by using the /help option and it worked.
I am now in :)
We have had well over 200 entries so far. As expected a big rush today.
You still have time to enter before the T-Shirt Deadline if you enter by midnight on Sunday 16th September 2012.
www.esfrc.org
The T-Shirt entry deadline has passed with 355 entered.
You can still enter until Noon on Satruday 23rd September 2012, but won't get the free T-Shirt.
We're getting close to the final closing date for the ESFRC, Noon on Saturday 22nd September 2012. After that, there we will not be taking entries at all.
To date we have 432 entries, an excellent 27 more than last year, well done everyone.
See you there.
Very heavy rain overnight at Cockermouth with strong winds, met office forecast is for this to ease but ground obviously sodden and will still be raining. Currently (07.50) Championships are still ON, but may mean that we are looking at reducing the courses, this allows both more control over courses (more marshalls for just one route) and reduces the amount of time older runners are out. We will also be asking runners to carry a waterproof top during their race.
Please ensure all your runners have suitable kit to keep warm and dry & spare to get into post race, the school has plenty of cover plus warm food & drinks.
RO will review situation at 11.00 after another course inspection.
Thanks
Duncan
Duncan we obviously only saw this after the event but as I drove across from Penrith this morning I feared the event might be called off. Luckily it wasn't and what a fantastic event it was, brilliantly organised. A great venue to hold an event of this size. Thanks to Martin and yourself and all the others who helped organise and more importantly managed to keep the day ON despite the horrendous conditions. A real credit to all the hardy athletes who endured all that water and strong winds. Roll on next year.
I totally agree - we came across from Richmond and I wasn't sure it would be on or what the kids would make of the conditions. As it turned out they absolutely loved it and it was brilliantly organised. I thought it took balls to keep it on and it proved to be a good decision. Massive thanks to all concerned from Richmond School.
Thank you guys, I can only say a grateful thanks to the front line troops of marshalls, school staff, who did such a selfless & professional job, Richard Lecky-Thompson, for managing the esfrc website & entry procedure, Jim Godwin (aka Felljunior) for doing a great job sorting the results so quickly (despite significant data discrepancies), Jon Broxop & Pete Blands for support with prizes & hard work. Most of all Martin and the staff at Cockermouth School for putting on an excellent day despite very challenging conditions.
And all the runners deserve high praise, I thought they all showed great character, great humour & attitude, all of them were winners & I hope they have great memories of the day.
After two excellent years at Cockermouth, the ESFRC will move to another school next year. Negotiations are ongoing with 2 schools, one in Cumbria, one in Yorkshire, although expressions of interest or recommendations are always welcome.
The bar has been set high by both Sedbergh and Cockermouth, but I'm very confident the competition will continue to grow and evolve, it's a great event.
