Me and the dogs can assist Leg 3 as far as Broad Stand. That way I can take a look at Lords Rake, which is my last bit of recce I need to complete and then we can make our own way back to the car.
Rob
Sounds good, pm'd you :)
Hi Rob, Excellent , if you can help that would be a great help. We are taking Lords Rake and West wall as our route to the summit. Ive been across many times in the last 5 years so can offer you some tips I will be at Dunmail at 8ish. All being well Roger will be there shortly fterwards.
We still need some one else to acompany us on leg 4. Can any one help out?
Would love to help... just the sort of weekend I need, but working til Sunday morning... good luck and I hope all goes well.
Hi Roger
If you still need someone for leg 4, then I am up at the weekend and happy to help as long as you don't expect me to navigate as its a while since I've done leg 4 and I wouldn't rely on me!
Cheers
Ian
Hi Ian,
Roger has set off for the Lakes , so may not see this. He has a naviagtor for leg 4 but you would be more than welcome to come along.
ok will turn up at the appointed time!
Morning Campers,
Good luck Roger - go get it!

What an Epic,
Three hours of persistant rain greeted the 12pm starts. You couldnt see your feet let alone anything else. Roger had Dave Swift to thank for excellent navigation getting him round leg 1. Although Roger had to Swim the Caldew and Dave and his mate had to make for the bridge. So it went on with thick clag to contend with all the way round. Roger made it back to the moot with just 4 minutes to spare. excellent stuff from all involved. Congratulation Roger, great effort
Impressive round Roger: I'd never have got near getting round in those conditions. Eleven out of ten!
Top effort Roger, well done!
Morning Campers,
That sounds bonkers - Roger that's a brilliant effort (could be the first duathlon of the BG if there was swimming involved?). With the likes of Dave Swift and Moorlander you were in good hands. Well done sir!

Sounds like an utter epic!
Look forward to a full report.
Bloody well done!
Very well done Roger, great effort in less than great weather:thumbup:
Well done Roger
Thanks and I've only just settled down as my van broke down before leaving Keswick. Thanks to everyone who helped! They were awesome!
Here's my report: http://runningroger.blogspot.co.uk/2...nd-report.html
I may edit it, I wanted to get it written down before work/life makes me forget..
