(ok so I just wanted to be the first person to post in a forum :o )
I've had a bad cough for 3 weeks now but unusually for me its not developed into anything worse. Its a dry cough that comes in bursts but when it does it feels like my ribs are going to break. I know I shouldnt be running but if I'd had 3 weeks off there's no guarantee it would have gone and I'd be less fit and miserable!!
It looks like summers here then! All the colds are gone and the sun is sort of shinning.
Good show OHW. That'll teach them nasty virusy things.
Quite right BR. Keep running's the best way to get rid of 'em (...er...well, some of the time. And yes, some of the time it's near leathal but worth the risk I've found) ...and a lot better psychological-wise
i havew one very nasty cold now, off to bed.
I don't have a cold anymore :D , but I've got toothache :( .
I feel your pain :( .
I do have a bloody virus - bloody glandular fever - I hate it!!

Glad to hear you're better now Penguin!
Brett - you lucky sod! I got Glandular fever during 1981 when I was working at Windscale. What a great illness it is, no, really, best illness I ever got!!! Meant I couldn't go in to work (though that's where I reckoned I picked it up from... ) My symptoms were sweating like a...(something which sweats a lot...almost as much as...oh, I dunno...ah...!...the amount Brian hates the Romans I s'pose) all night so pretty wrecked in the morning. But not bad enough not to be able to tour round the lakes for 3 weeks on the (motor) bike I had at the time. :D
Mind...having said that, I didn't work for the same firm you do ;) so I can imagine that both pay and moreover benefits might be being restricted at the moment eh....
GWS!
