OU survey on running packs
Hi,
As part of my Open University course I'm looking into designing a new type of running back pack.
It would be great if you could click the link and take the 10 questions in the survey as it all helps me to pass my course.
Thanks.

I'm looking forward to my lightweight design with special bottle holder for six bottles of real ale, plus insulated 'pie-warmer' pocket :w00t:
Re: OU survey on running packs
Done. Not a mention of my tea urn pocket though please. Other people might try and get in on the next big thing.

Done. Looking forward to my prototype jet pack.
Re: OU survey on running packs
Helium balloon fitted in the top so it just floats and I don’t actually carry any weight .

YES, fantastic idea
Re: OU survey on running packs
Done, although I don't just use the one type of pack.
Different runs have different requirements. Not really that well addressed.

Very true, I use three different rucksacks and two bumbags or nothing, all depends on what I am doing and where I am going.

Done. Yes, agree, I go from a PB bumbag through a camelbak, a 10 litre Vaude up to the standard OMM sac

It is a shame that such surveys almost always have some areas that are poorly addressed - ideally they would be run past a small number of people as a trial first. What I take with me and what I carry it in varies more with the time of year/day than the distance.

Surveys should survey about surveys
