Its two friendship bracelets actually - my eldest daughter usually makes me one before the start of each summer and I've managed to not rot the last two summer's worth off with my sweaty wrists :)Quote:

Aha, now I am beginning to understand Stolly's latest obsession...he may well be the first to crack that. Just the small matter of completing the BGR in order to get a full Garmin trace...easy peasy ;)

I was out for 6:30 on the DazH race in Buttermere, running Strava on my Android phone. I was not sure if the thing would last my expected 7 hours. I went into settings and "running apps" and killed everything that was not needed, email, google play, facebook, etc, and put the phone into Aeroplane mode. I got around the race and the plot was fine with just over 50% of the battery used. I reckon it could have easily done 12 hours which is way more than I would have expected.
