new date 13 july for bgr help

I have chosen to go on the 13th of July leaving Saturday through to Sunday after having some really good months of training I know I am ready and its time but I do need some help with road support (drivers) driving motorhome round the lakes knowledge of stops would be an advantage with angela and callum as company and possibly some more hill support on leg 1+2 if anybody can offer help pm me please this could be an ideal last run out for l 50 or l 100 prep I will be carrying a tracker and will post tag later

Hope to be making my delayed attempt on Ramsey Round at the same time - hope all goes well for you. If I don't go north (only becausde of dire weather) then I may be available for Leg 1, but I am planning not to be here. All the best.

What time are you planning to start the round?

Roy, depending on when your start time it's possible I could help out on a later leg. I'm busy on the 13th with the Ripon triathlon, but I think we had plans to come up to the Lakes on the Sunday (14th) for some L50 training. Please let us know.

That looks like a 23.15hr-ish schedule to me, I see you've given yourself well over 5 hours for leg 4. Am I right that you would like your support in place 30 minutes before the arrival times you've listed here?

Piece of cake Roy. You just turn on about 5 mins before you start and forget it. Ideally it needs to be in sight of the sky so attached to a shoulder strap is ideal. But as it got transfered from pacer to pacer it was in bumbags, outer pouches of rucksacks etc and seemed to record pretty well. Are you planning to carry it yourself?

yes carrying it myself or if it does get uncomfortable then pass to pacer but they will have to remember to pass it on.

still looking for another driver even if they could do wasdale support would be handy
change over point for wasdale at the end of road opposite road to national trust carpark where you make the climb up yewbarrow
honister and dunmail checkpoints stay the same

If you could switch it on an hour before that be great.. Few people have switched them on - not seen that the cr*p light is on and then switched it off again when they push the button again.

Re location - yep bill is right it is better on a rucksac strap but likewise you don't want to get stressed about it on such a day. If you have to put it in a zip pocket no worries.. just might struggle with GPS signal in some of the steep sided parts of the route.

can anyone verify that they have recieved the schedule sent it out last night it was late waiting on couple of people
