Did anyone go to Kilnsey show today? I was just wondering who did what in the Guides race.
1st Rob Hope 2nd Ted Mason 3rd ??? 4th Mark Croasdale.
How did you do Watto ?
I was 11th out of 61 and made a "FIVER" made up. Goldie was 8th i think, with Marcus 1 in front, and Bruce in front of both of them. REETH TOMORROW!!
Or I could do both - NO MORE CIDER

Hic...
ok shall i ask a bit more sensibly - what happened in the ladies race please! (at kilnsey)
Lisa Lacon 1st in new record time. The 2 Wharfedale girls were up there somewhere !
Sounds like a good day at Kilnsey yesterday. Ted Mason is looking strong again, I hope he's able to come to Reeth today.
See you there Watto, Addy & Stick

http://www.yorkshirenet.co.uk/ydales...show/page1.asp some info here
U/17s is at one or u/9s. If its under 9s it will be more like a 2 o clock start wont it.
What is the course like at Hebden
it will be u9s at 1 its a descent course 1.5m 500ft run out the show field the down a gravel track for 300m which is all down hill then across the river starting a steady climb then abit of a gradual climb upto a real steep final climb through the ferns then its a fast runnable bit across the top over a big wall then a real steep descent to another wall at the bottom over a foot bridge then a climb back up the gravel track to the field a killer of a finish abit like the finish of shulingsloe http://www.bofra.co.uk/HebdenPhotos.php last years pics :)
Hebden Sports starts at 1pm. The "grass track races", as Scott puts it, are more for the kids I think. There might be some short sprints or 3 legged races. You can see on the photos link that Scott pasted.
Senior race is usually after 4pm so U17's will be just before.

point and laugh hahaaaa
Great youtube video of Jonnie's fall. I'd heard about it but didn't realise that it was quite so spectacular and he still went on to win.
Enjoyed my first go at this race in very slippery conditions. Fortunately there was a queue at the chimney by the time I got there which made for a slower and safer descent.
Does anyone know the records for alot of Bofra races?
esp some of the classics? ;
Ambleside sports
