Anyone doin this?
I'll be there. Hate the course, especially with the whether we've been having so I'm not all that keen...
I'll be there, sore foot so not racing (AGAIN!!)
Will be at registration helping distribute numbers - so come and say hello
I'll be there - not run X country for ages. I used to have some Walsh spikes, but I can't find 'em & checked out Pete Blands website & can't see any mention of them. Beginning to think I inagined owning them. Does anyone know where I can get hold of a pair & reassure me I haven't dreamt it!
No you haven't dreamt it. I have a pair of Walsh xc spikes. I got them a couple of years ago from Bourne Sports and thought I was lucky then (as I'm only a size 4). Did a quick net seach today but no result. They've been good although I had to have the spike plate glued back on a couple of times at LSR.
My kids are running, but coming at the back of the field didn't appeal to me. Anyway the kids always moan if they have to hang around too long after their runs.
Well done to Ben fish
Does anybody know where the results will be?
will be here soon

Accept a pat on the back there Track Fairy - well done fella.
It was a disappointingly small field in the Senior mens and vets race though wasn't it?
Wajib looks to becoming into a bit of form at the right time.

There was a 20% increase in the number of finishers in the Merseysides, though thats not saying much...
Hmm it does look like a small field for some reason. I know the Preston men were severely depleted for some reason. Maybe people are just pig sick of running it at Witton Park again although I gather that it's getting increasingly difficult to find anyone else willing to host.
I do fear that we'll end up sharing a championship with neighbouring counties before too long and for a county with such a rich athletics heritage (particularly pre 1974) that would be a very sad thing.
