I have to take exception to your description of it as "on-sight".....
How can it be onsight if you can't see where you're going????
Great write up and photos - very envious - I haven't walked off the top of a cliff since I was 10!
ha. ha. very good joe.
yes, it felt strange to suddenly find myself mid air in the blackness - actually rather pleasant after all that bushwhacking.
Some excellent pictures there, well done.
Do you take your camera on every run?
I like the pics of your Helvelyn night run!!
no don't usually take my camera - only on the long runs, when there's snow or when the light is good.
striding edge was good. also had a good one on bowfell last night a touch of snow made the climbers traverse quite atmospheric.
Excellent!! I keep checking your site all the site.
The best I've got is on 2 lads.

Not a patch on anything that you lot get up too, I wouldn't mind having a go at one of your night runs.
Gosh - stunning photos! Makes you just want to get out there and run over them all.
Nice one on another great effort FMA. Like the new forum name as well!!
I must apologise for not coming on many of the night runs after my initial enthusiasm - off to Tanzania for a couple of weeks now so wont be at the Junior meeting. See you sometime on return
Awesome.
All the more so because you seem like such quiet, sane, sensible chap!
Well done.
Great Stuff!
Very well done, the rewards of a true winters night are often the best...
