Start lists here
Thanks Brett
Looking forward to it
we all need to be time lords...closing date is 2005
You just can't get the staff nowadays
going to do it next year, what's it like, similar to Yorkshireman? That was hot!!!
I'll be there for my sins. Race 1 in the Montrail Ultra series
I remember walking this 20 something years ago:eek:
I know one or two runners not doing this as they want to save their legs for the Edale Skyline.
I'll also be on for the Fellsman (race two of the series) If any forumite needs a lift to the start i'm going from J36 M1.
Ian
Hi Duracell
The 7th April is still free but I had planned on a BG recce.
Can't make Calderdale as I'm having a crack at Dark Peaks '15 Trigs' 55ish miles with at least 7000 ft climbing unsupported in a max time of 15 hours.
This is on my doorstep, well a bit of it is. It is an absolute classic of fell running and a must as a training run and a great day out. Tradition has it that there is no backup. Apparently the record is just over 10 hours (unless any one knows better)
If you want to know the details i can post them
Ian
Good luck on that .
Would be interested in the route

Hope that helps Crowhill !:D
Calderdale Hike looks good. Didn't know about this race.
Might come and do it myself, since I can't make the Wuthering Hike this year.
Any body planning to do the Trollers trog the week before Wuthering, Not quite as far but good training for the longer stuff to come.
Just been looking at the two maps of the race route on the website. At first glance it doesn't look too hard to follow. But there are two sections off the maps! Anyone know which OS maps cover the route?
Mmmm! Route looked fairly simple on the 1:50000, but looks a little more complicated on the 1:25000. Is it easy to follow?
straight forward bits are, tricky bits arent !!!
Knowing which little paths to take into Hebden Bridge is the tricky bit ! Wish I could help you more but its 2 years since I did this last, so am hoping for inspiration as I go round. Either that or hang onto someones shirt tails who knows the way (Charlie M watch out!!!):D
