Interesting one though.
As a starter how about Scafell Pike? :- Borrowdale, Scafell, Old County Tops, 3 Peaks Yacht Race (and I've not done it but does that new AL race visit it or is it Scafell?). You could possibly also include the Lakes 3000ers round that LDWA do but I dont suppose that qualifies as a race.
Kinder gets a few visits. Kinder Downfall, Kinder Trog, Tanky's, HPM, Edale Country day, oh yes & today's Edale Skyline - so that's 6 off the top of my head.
Moel Famau!
Up and down from Llangynhafal (yesterday), Cilcain (two races), Hotfoot up Famau race, Colomendy race 2 years ago, 3 downhill races from here and at least 2 other defunct races makes eleven. Most of them going up the Stony Gulley!
Not as many as that but a couple more worthy lakes contenders?
Helvellyn - OCT, Grisedale/Cafod, Helvellyn Tri .... and Helvellyn
Dalehead:- Borrowdale, Anniversary Waltz, Dalehead
Stoodley Pike?
....Shepherds Skyline, Noonstone, Coiners, Good Shepherd, CWR, Erringden Moor....and Stoodley Pike (+ more?)
Penistone Hill, near Haworth ;)
White Nancy!
1 Crown Derby
2 Rainow
3 White Nancy
4 St George's
do the 2 newer Bollington runs go up it as well - they must do??

Almost every time I race in the Lakes Pike o Blisco gets a visit. I think its in 3 Lakeland classics.
To pick a winner we have to have some ground rules - count only races run in 2008, must be 100% running, must be in FRA/SHR/WFRA/BOFRA calendar or be a runners-only open-to-all race. Secondary races don't count (e.g. junior or short course alternatives).Quote:

I'm trying to get over 3 for Snowdon but failing. So far:
Welsh 1000m, International, Peris Horseshoe. Any others?
Somebody mentioned Pendle:
Full Tour, Half tour, Pendle Cloughs, Pendle fell race = 4. Any others?
What about High Brown Knoll, Sheepstones, Crow Hill etc? Surely lots of races round there, but I'm not that familiar with them.

Actually, having a lot of races on a particular hill is a poor recommendation. It usually means there aren't many other good hills around there....:p

Farnhill Pinnacle - every one of Bretts night races/duathlons goes up there and he has loads, all open to anyone
