Hope you do it JJ you will enjoy it, when you have finished it:D
We hope to come along and support you.
Bugger.
if you do it JJ I will too :D
;) yes i will be there.
Don't be scared. I am officially the worst runner in the world, so everyone looks good compared to me :)
Will be good to meet you emmilou.
my entry is in the post :)
Hey, Emmilou, your a good runner, remember I saw you at Winter Hill with a sore calf and you still ran well.
I have my cousin running who is a lovely lady (1st fell race) who I will run with and any one who wants to tag on is more than welcome.
JJ you will do great, no pressure.:) :)
I'm trying to get Chris to run round with me holding my hand in the hope he'll drag me along faster than I can run/walk it. :D
Oooops domestic!!!!
OOo a big forumite gathering by the sound of it!:D
I'll get the entry in then! We can all go to the Bob Smithy and have a pint of Boltons finest Bank Top Brewery Ale when we finish!
The old slapper is very nice!
(thats a beer)
NO!
You'll be fine - it's a shortish run and mostly on track it's just a little bit quick at the start and a little bit steepish!!! but going back down is a right blast!!
I've not done it yet but apparently it's a good race in that the route is lined with spectators and people cheering you on and like Calf says the post race gathering will make it all worthwhile:D :D
Its only 3.25 in total so 1.75 of that is going up hill.
Its more of a social thing, plus your a one hill wonder so won't have any probs!
You'll love it*:D
*disclaimer. In no way can I guarantee that you will love it, but I will buy you a pint if you turn up!
Is this pre entry only?
thanks swoop
Hi All I did my first fell races last year and am going to have my first pop at this one. We'll be stopping off on our way up to ullswater for our holiday. see you all there
:D Oh good stuff. see you there!
i may do this , not sure yet
how far is it

Worth buying if copies are still available (try Up and Running).
:( well it is easter weekend i think, which means i will be obliged to drink lots that weekend
Pendle is a much nicer course. This is the first time I can recall the races clashing. Pendle is usually on the first Saturday in April and Rivington is on Easter Saturday but I'm sure that in the past Pendle has been moved back a week if the two dates have clashed.
 why not
:D no not the night before I will be good that night. I like this race because it is on a saturday and on a bank holiday weekend so I still have 2 nights out to cram into the weekend AFTER the race! Perrrrrrfect
:o ..errrr... I thought you might have forgot about that one
