BGs 26/27/28 June '09

Bobert leaving Moot Hall at 7pm on the Friday for a 22hr schedule.
Also Donkarlo I believe though I dont know him at present.

Both leaving same time on same schedule although different support teams.

Going to be a good one! I am I doing leg 4 with Bill (is it baggins??) for Donkarlo. Looking forward to it! See some of you at Keswick for the off on Friday.

I'm with Donkarlo - legs 4 and 5, although definately 5. Leg 4 depends on various factors saturday morning.

Forecast looking good so far. Should be another enjoyable BG weekend.

Yes I'll be doing 4 and 5 (to the road only :cool:) looking forward to it.

Was thinking of going for a training run around leg 4 so if anyone needs a hand...? Know that leg pretty well. I'll carry some extra jelly babies and look out for you guys - good luck

We've got a group going round this weekend, too. Setting off at midnight on a cw round are Dave Harvey & Andy Green (Pennine) and Julien Minshull & Mark Ollerenshaw (Glossopdale). Hopefully I'll be able to enjoy a spectacular sunrise with them somewhere along the Dodds.

Iain and I are indeed both on a 22hr Schedule starting at 7pm.

Swiss Toni you're more than welcome to join us on leg 4. We're due in wasdale around 9am saturday.

We have an attempt this weekend too. Keighley-Elstub from this forum and Alan W, leaving the Moot Hall at 23.30 Friday on a 23 hour schedule.

Had a couple of pacers drop out with injury so things have changed around somewhat, but at the moment I'm pacing legs 3 and 4.

I’d just like to thank all those that are giving up their time helping us out. I read about the BG as a kid & never thought I’d be cheeky enough to have a go. Reccing this has produced a lot of good days out so far….so here’s hoping for another one on Sat. cheers :)

I'll be on the top end of a rope on Broad Stand for Karl early Sat, getting a bit concerned I might be missing out on the cake frenzy! Good luck to everybody & dont eat all the choc flapjack...

Aiming for around 6.30/6.45, the Karl Express is due around 8ish so intend to get rigged by 7 just incase...

Duncs, could get a brew on for you then as you come past?

Be bivi'ing up there if weather is good. Probably near Sprinking Tarn so then a short leg loosener down to Wasdale before the troops arrive.

No I'm guiding a group round a national three peaks:o i try and avoid these but we have to eat and it beats sitting behind a desk.

Might try and pop down to Corpach to see Marvin and Zlod before the start.
