enjoyed the race - maybe one day the rain will hold off so that I can get to do the proper race through the river.

Thanks HHH. I thoroughly enjoyed it to be honest. Normally we only get the opportunity to watch the seniors and look upto them. Running in the same race helped to make me aware of where I am at in relation to those I rarely get to race against and also witness a masterclass from the lads up front all the way round :cool:Quote:

Think I'll try and count in this next year - 8 from 15, should be do-able, do they use the same races as champs each year or shuffle it around a bit??

Booked the 5th off to come along for this. Whos is the course record of 11.06? It looks like they sometimes change the route resulting in 16m winning times, but a couple of times the finisher has been in the high elevens.
Not sure who that record belong to. We don't often do the short route as it doesn't take much water in the river to make it too deep. The extra 5 minutes is going over the bridge.Quote:
