A long run this weekend
I'm hankering after a trip up north this weekend. Anyone up for a long steady trot? Was originally thinking of doing the 3 peaks route but anything long hilly and challenging would do. I'd like to keep the benefit of the OMM in my legs.
Am hoping to blag a guided tour of some sort...please?!
Oh and if there's tussocks i'd be like a pig with a truffle :D

Re: A long run this weekend
In the Peaks there is 'The Roaches' Fell Race.
15 miles and not much under 4000' of climbing.
Cracking route.
I did it as my first fell race last year and im sure you'd equally love it.
Just an idea for you.;)

I'm feeling a bit brain dead at the mo...and half asleep most of the time. A bit worrying really. Need a good long one in the fresh air to shake it off.

Re: A long run this weekend
II'll be out in the Dales at the weekend for a long steady run. Had thought about doing Kinder Killer, but will save that until early spring.
Planning a grand tour of upper Wharfedale c 20ml / 4-5000ft bit quicker than BG pace

Re: A long run this weekend
Three years ago I arranged to meet Stef in Kettlewell in the pay and display car park for a long run. I arrived early and when Stef turned up the first thing I said was 'I know somewhere we can park for free; follow me!' Some things never change :o but some do and here we are now sharing a home and baking Christmas cakes together. Long may it continue

This forum has a lot to answer for, it's more like a dating agency.
I sometimes wonder if "FRA" in the FRA forum stands for Feeling Randy Anyone? ;)
