Personal Insults

Right, seems that I'm coming in for a lot of criticism recently and seem to be able to rile people up easily.

I've been on these forums since about 2005 under my previous name Gravymeister and then TheHeathens. I know that I'm an argumentative sod and have quite forthright views which I'm not afraid of putting forward.

In relation to CL, you're probably sick and tired of our tittle tattle so I'm going to put him on my ignore list (which I think he's done to me).

But, and with the Cl the obvious exception (where I admit we both overstepped the mark) have I ever insulted you? If I have, then I apologise wholeheartedly.

I wouldn't take it to heart - Antisocial by name and also by nature. What do you expect?:rolleyes:

Never insulted me. I enjoy your opinions - except when we disagree ;)

We might have had a banter about prize money once many years ago, but nothing serious.

You either strongly believe in what you are posting and that is worth upsetting people for, or its not.

Either way just chill. :)

I didn't Daz - just getting a little criticism. I admit being overly argumentative sometimes but I don't recall ever directly insulting anyone with the exception of CL and certainly never starting it.

Just wanted to apologise in case I had.

Dont put him on the ignore list, your little exchanges are the best thing about this forum. Contrastring view points yes, but in the majority healthy debate. I see it as a form of education in the views of two ends of the spectrum. Photo may have been a bit over the top however.

Don't be daft, sometimes things get a bit heated but it's nothing in the grand scheme of things. I totally understand getting wound up by CL as I've been sucked in a few times but that's what he seems to thrive on. Simply state you opinions backed up with evidence/expert views and then ignore the irrelevant ramblings. Most folk on the forum (just under 70% apparently) will weigh up the evidence/arguments and see sense. ;)

Should there be a 'Not yet' option...? :D

Just doing some quick maths, it would seem, out of the 1169 active members, the total who think you haven't insulted you is 1.2% ! :)

i have to agree. how many people feel left out because they have not been insulted

I think the doghearted bit might stem from the belief in the existance of a race called the 'Dogheads'.

During medieval times church elders would go on pilgrimages to the edges of the earth, literally because they thought is was flat back then, and bring back tales of a race of beings who had human bodies and the heads of dogs. Nobody doubted men of such reverance but they were obviously talking total bulls**t for reasons unknown. There was furious debate on whether the dogheads should be classed as citizens but it was decided that as they wore clothes that they had a sense of shame and therefore were cool to stay.

Medieval folklore is really something else, even worse than my digressions from the point.
