Used to sing all of this... those were the days! Mind you, I am not an alto, I am more of a lyrical soprano, yet I still love to sing 'Bereite dich Zion' in the previous post :)
None of these comes anywhere near Wham's 'last christmas'
The only million seller never to get to number one

I was driving to Aigburth very early this morning in the snow when I heard this version of this song on the radio - thought it was quite nice.

Well done to Sony for a great xmas coup. How many fell for it.
Simply replace one pointless potential xmas number one with another pointless xmas number one instead.
The irony of the recent weather wasn't lost on Neil Tennant tonight when the PSB's performed 'It doesn't often snow at Christmas' at Manchester Arena.:D
For something a bit different...

I love it.
Although it lacks the the luscious brass section of the studio version, this is pretty damn good for a performance in a bookshop.

Doesn't surprise me. It reminds me of when I used to work in a supermarket and you'd constantly be asked the same dumb questions. Come Christmas Eve you'd get people asking for Turkeys and Christmas Pudding and you've sold out of it. Or the git that would rock up five minutes before closing to do a big shop wondering why every stock lad and till girl (was a while ago) was looking daggers at them. Happy days indeed.
