Mate of mine has just reminded me of this race and as I'm scheduled to run 24 miles that weekend I'll probably do it.
It's all on the hard black stuff I'm afraid but very very hilly. From Keswick you run down the Borrowdale valley and over Honister Pass, then down to Buttermere and up over newlands Pass to drop back into Keswick.
At a fiver for entry you can't really go wrong.
yep i should be there again, for a road race it`s not bad but the descent`s destroy the quad`s.
That was fun, but man did i wish i was running the fells on a day like that, still ran it quicker than when i last ran it 3 years ago, so small compensation i guess.

Last minute trip to Lanzarote meant i missed this event after all.
Am gonna have some explaining to do next time i'm through that way - they'll be thinking i just wimped out of doing it.
