Inov8 trailroc 255

Looking at replacing my old trusty and worn out trail rocs for something more up to date.
Looking at either the roclite 305 or possibly the trailtalon 250.
Will be mainly used for xc type running as its fairly flat around my area(can be rather muddy in winter)
With occasional jaunt into hillier areas.
Have any of you had any experience with these.
Wondering what the sizing is like as the 255's are nice in the forefoot for my duck feet.
I have a half size up at size 12 and they are spot on.
