FLOWER SCAR CANCELLED...

In light of recent flood devastation in the Calder Valley and the potential for further issues with Storm Dennis, we've made the difficult decision to call off Flower Scar fell race on saturday 15th February (both junior and senior races). With Amber warnings for rain and strong winds we just cannot justify the risk to competitors and Marshals.

Please accept my sincerest apologies for any dissapointment, i'm absolutely gutted as this was my handover year from Darren Tweed, who has done an amazing job and organised an absolutely brilliant race, which i'm sure many of you have run with it being used for championship fixtures in the past.

Hopefully we can find a gap in the fixture list to move it elsewhere in the year but this may not be a possibility. We'll see.
