i'm getting a pain here(see pic) when i run (only when i run) think its just a twisted ankle. how long should i leave it or can i train on it still. im thinking i might just stick to bike training for a bit as i have some races in the next couple of weeks. any advice would be great:)

Does it hurt when you run off road on soft ground or only on road?
Listen to your body, if it's hurting - it's telling you to take it easy.
It's worth getting it looked at by someone who is used to treating running injuries.
can go steady and it might not bother me, just when i seam to go hard at it. it has only just started to hurt bad today, rest is the best option i think but for how long? i'll do a week on the bike and take it from there, like you said i'll get someone to check it out if it carrys on. cheers
tibialis posterior tendon runs that way, keep an eye out on it, if it is a tenonopathy get on it early..
what can i do if it is that? do i need to see someone or will rest cure it?
Does the pain go if you don't stick your finger in it :)
See someone! Don't run on it and make it/something else worse.
diagnosis / treatment by forum is impossible mate, see how it goes, if it does not get better go and see someone you have heard is good.Quote:
