Good call. Must get with it, but I'm still a big fan of miles (and the entry fee should be in shillings)
Will you be joining us Balin??

Evening BB: Glad you might be joining us.
Pace will be steady training run pace - most of those likely to run are the type who finish somewhere around middle ranks in a race (although we have a few speedier types who will be glad to run ahead and wait for us)
The aim is to do the full 15 - but it would be easy to bail out around 10 miles (see map on race web site) as the route passes through Hardcastle Craggs (you might want to bring a map if you are going to run off piste)
What sort of pace are you???
Re: 2nd Jan - Heptonstall Recc
Cracking run today;16/17 gathered in the pre-dawn darkness before setting off into swirling snow and white landscape. Good to see lots of forumites. Pint and soup at White Lion rounded off a great day. The sun even made a long awaited appearance.Anyone up for another?
Re: 2nd Jan - Heptonstall Recc
I'd be up for another trot round soon (I hope!). Had another attempt at running today - did about 1.5 miles and although still coughing like a demon managed not to throw up. Gutted to miss New Year mass run.
