Entries for the 2019 Manx Mountain Marathon (Incorporating the Half Manx Mountain Marathon) are now open! Easter falls in late April this time so we're virtually guaranteed warm and sunny weather!
Easter allows people to travel over and make a proper weekend away for it. Great course, fantastic scenery and plenty of good beer afterwards. Finishers medal even incorporates a bottle opener. Good deals on flights/ferry and hotels to be had.

Am toying with giving this a go next year as it is over 30 years I last visited the Island, which is {was} fantastic by the way.
Anyone on here done it and if so is it worth doing?
I mean to do it every year. I have family on the island and haven’t been over since I was a kid. I reckon it’s a “classic” and it would be fitting to do it in the 50th year. It nearly went out of existence a cou0le of years ago so I’m sure they welcome the support.
Haven’t planned the 2020 calendar yet though...
