Well i discovered fell running too young to do any junior races but i can still do U23.
The only race ive done so far where i could have got anything was Belmont Winter Hill so i'd say that.....but im biased since i won it.
Also, skiddaw did an U20 option on the entry form. For some reason there wasnt any prices though...and i flippin got first U20 as well.
Its really good being an under 18 Al. Id say 1 in every 3 races i go to i get a prize for first under 18 and im pretty rubbish
Like Al - never done a junior race - but been to plenty.
In terms of course - I would say that High Rigg is about as good a course as I have seen.
I also like Pendle.
I would love to do a Junior FRA attached to Paddy's Pole - Parlick / Fairsnape are perfect for Junior Fell.
I think all have been good so far this year - a bit of something for everybody and well organised.
Hopefully we can carry that on at Darwen!
I agree there WP ive only done AW and Coiners but both were top notch. Shutlingsloe was disapointing last year so i chose to miss it. And ambleside was a bit of a trek as there is no senior race so as the only junior in my club getting a lift is difficult
when is High Rigg ive not done it yet
thats a shame. The saddleworth routes are the best ive seen yet i think. Just the right amount of distance/ascent for all ages
