With Cumbria now in tier 4 and with every likelihood of full lockdown on the way the Club has decided that no Rounds will be ratified until the situation eases.
The best guess at the government's intentions (basically the same as pinning the tail to the donkey for all the accuracy that entails) is that Easter will see things being less restrictive. Currently no-one has registered an attempt earlier than mid April so it's a somewhat moot point.
In light of the reintroduction of a national lockdown it's now certain that the rule on not being away from home overnight mean that attempts on the Round cannot be made.
While everyone else is rushing to the shops the faithful will be casting their eyes to the fells ;)
The restriction on being away from home overnight has been lifted so should you wish to have a midnight trot across the fells, maybe perhaps as part of a well known Lakeland challenge, go ahead!
