Barefoot Work Shoes
I am currently experiencing some mild achilles tendonitis. I have found that the shoes i currently wear to work seem to make it worse during the day. I have also found that walking around during the day wearing either Crocs or just my socks :o seem to make my achilles feel a lot better, and generally feels more comfortable.
Problem is, walking around an office with Crocs (with a few blobs of paint) or just socks on isn't really acceptable. Does anyone have any suggestions for some slightly more professional alternatives?

Re: Barefoot Work Shoes
I wear vivo barefoot aqua (in black) to work a lot for exactly that reason. When they finally wear out, I'll probably buy some of the oak model as they are a little more "shoe"like.

Re: Barefoot Work Shoes
We have a pretty casual dress code so I wear an old pair of Inov8 Roclite 285 with jeans quite often. Those new black Flite 190 look ideal for an office shoe to me ;)

Re: Barefoot Work Shoes
i wear the vivo aqua too, which are very comfy and were bought from tk max.
the only problem is that they look like the old clarke polyvelts(remember them).
my boss took a double take when he saw me wearing them,
and shook his head,mumbleing runners!

I wear a pair of vivo oaks, which not only are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn, they are also on sale at the moment!

I have a similar dilemma but I don't think I have much chance of finding a flat soled minimal safety boot :(
