Bruce's Crown

Could anyone give me some info on 'Bruce's Crown' please?
I'm interested in this since reading RT's 'Book of The Bivvy'.

No probs , i fancied it myself and hope it's run again. I once saw it whilst walking the Southern Upland Way and camped in Glentrool. It looks a toughie though.

Judging by the other threads it would seem this event is sadly no more...
