You're thinking of Darth of the DarkSide Andy
I've put the date in my diary but will see how I feel on the day as to whether it's a full or Half skyline, I'm planning on a trip up High cup Nick the day before

Might I suggest meeting at Mam Nick car park which means we don't have to do the first climb of the race (up Ringing Roger) and can do the second half of the race route (the navigationally testing half) first. I did that last year with Swoop and it worked out really well.
Mam Nick car park is right at (or maybe just after) the turning for the hidden valley of Edale off of the A6187, itself the main drag to Castleton and Hope from the A6 at Chapel en le Frith.......... says he pretending that he knows the area like the back of his hand
Bugger me I just did an Edale Skyline google search and in at number 3 was my route map - Mam Nick is just below Mam Tor on the southern side of the route. Use the zoom button by the way to see the close in map and click and hold to move the map view about.

Stolly's Carpark is at SK 1239 8321 however it is a pay and display:mad: but just 100m east along the road there is a layby where you can get 3-4 cars for free. :D car share a must I might suggest.

If it's pay and display to fund National Trust I don't really mind. I'd like to turn up even though I've no intention of entering it. See how the training comes along.
