I'm a mustard man on burger as well, English naturally.
I had a really good burger the other day at the Hare and Hounds in Abbey Village.
Nice quarter pounder, onion, lettuce, beef tomato and I added a little ketchup and mayonnaise. Only quibble was the brioche bun. It was too small and had no substance to it.
I'd rather have had a wholemeal teacake (sparks another heated exchange ;) )
I tend to use the mustard for cold sandwiches with ham or beef as the base.
Big thanks to Stagger, without whose orthographic error we would all be droning on about the implications of Covid instead of this fascinating discussion of sauces and burgers. :p
We will all be drawing burgers before long.
