I had exactly the same experience last year, a very fast referral, total professionalism at the breast clinic and... thank goodness... a false alarm. Nothing but praise for the clinic staff.
Hope you get an appointment soon Steff.

I received a letter last week inviting me for a smear test and I chucked it in the bin as I've always done. I've now retreived the letter.
Afraid its cancer, finger crossing didn't work:( Chemo and radiotherapy required, also a lump found under arm that requires a biopsy, she's a positive lady that just wants to get on with the treatment and take whatever it throws at her, brave, my thoughts are with her.
Thanks Merry :)
Sorry about your friends Mum :( I hope they can nip it in the bud and she makes a full recovery. Scary stuff.

Pleased everything went well for you! Have you got to have follow up appointments or can you just put your feet up now?
Just me left now with the jaw thing. Starting to get into a mild fret with it - my jaws will be wired together for 6 weeks. Feel a bit silly really having read all the stories above, as my op is mostly for cosmetic purposes, although because the bite isn't right some of my teeth migh fall out when I'm older. Slight risk of blindness with the op though. Arrgh!!!
Sorry for going off thread slightly!
