UK Athletics Coaching Session
I am slightly excited this weekend as I have found out I have somehow managed to win a competition to spend the day being coached by William Sharman and Tom Parsons next Sunday over at Loughborough Uni Peformance Centre. For an armature jogger like me this is the closest I am ever going to get to being a real athlete so I need to make the most of the day!
I need to think up some decent questions to ask them...so far all I can think of is:
1) Can I have your Olympic medals please?
2) Why arent you going to give me your Olympic medals?
3) Why am i being arrested?
Any ideas?
............
Goals:
Sub 39min 10k
Sub 50min Iron Man

Re: UK Athletics Coaching Sess
How's about, can you work out a specific workout plan to help me achieve my goals?
Although the 'Sub 50min' Iron Man, could prove a bit tricky! ;)
There's loads of questions you can ask though, tips and trips, diet, recovery etc etc etc

Hope you enjoy the day.
Are you sure you're an armature jogger? I thought magnetos had been banned in athletics since the 1890s. Maybe you mean armchair?

Or a very mature amateur jogger!!;)
Might be worth asking both of them what they consider the best route is if you wish to avoid Bad Step on the Langdale Horseshoe - after all I'm sure a hurdler and a high jumper must have a few ideas:D
