Had a smashing time at Withins despite being full of man-flu!! What a lovely race.Energy levels were severely depleted but I think I managed to finish halfway and with a smile on my face.
Particularly enjoyed the waterfall crossing...very deceptive, I put my foot down on what I thought was something solid and ended up waist deep in the water :D
Felt crap on sunday morning with a cold, took my running gear not really feeling like doing it but my lad was doing the U8 race. After he won it i thought sod it, let's have a plod round. Felt better as the race went on. No idea where i finished or what time, but i'm not bothered as the cold seems to have gone now:cool:
Could this be the cure for the common cold, 7m of mud, bog and waterfalls?
Or was it them Curlywurlies, Guinness and chips after:D
