Hi Stagger
I am up from sunny Kent, staying with inlaws in Stockport over this period and was looking to have a little run out some where closer than the Lakes (boss has told me not to keep taking the mick/ using up all of my passes). Would you know how far the planned jolly is from Stockport?

It take's about 35 mins to Manchester airport SS from junction 23 M62.
So if you are any where near the airport thats your guide time.
I hope you make it,
All the best
Stagger
Re: Pre-New Year fell jaunt
Thanks for that Stagger. I now have obtained an official pass from the boss:D. Could you be more specific as to the meeting place:confused: .
Re: Pre-New Year fell jaunt
Not going to make it, but have a good one, y'all.

Here I believe, although it seems to me to be cheating a bit to start the run so high up .

Spot on, thanks David. I hope that helps SS
Remenber my earlier thread about type of races.
This little beauty starts with a really fast descent then carries on going down for about a mile, but on the way back which is via a different route it's only a 400 yard climb. Some good scenery and running though.
Re: Pre-New Year fell jaunt
It will be about 10 mile with 2500" of ascent but should be just about all runable;)
And I have ordered good weather.:)
