Just a quick heads up.
I'm away for a week or so from this Friday (25th May) riding the Highland Trail 550 so it's unlikely that I'll be responding to any emails during that time - in fact my phone will be in air-plane mode for most of the time to save battery usage. If you haven't had a confirmation email when registering or have sent in a ratification form just be patient I'll respond to you once I'm back.

I have heard from him via email and he didn’t ask me to send help.
Things didn't go quite as planned! Short version: got food poisoning then heatstroke then mechanical problems so bailed at the fifty mile mark. Long version here: http://bobwightman.blogspot.com/2018...y-well-no.html
There was a scratch (abandon) rate of about 40%, most were due to the heat but one rider went for a swim and cut his foot on a rock and another was attacked by a cow!

I'm away for three weeks from this Thursday (2nd August) so for those who are successful and have submitted your forms just be patient. I might check my email on my phone but I won't be able to check the forms. I'm back around the 22nd.
