Just time for a quick jog down to the shop for some beers ready for the footy :D
It will be a bit intimidating for City today but I am going to go for a score draw and hopefully more than one each.
Sterling has ice water in his veins
Skrtel shaves his head for the occasion and it pays off!
suarez should be off..
2-1 deserved tbf, city have done well to still be in this.. huge 30 mins to go
2-2. Just need Aguero on now.
2-2... game on!
Any other player than Suarez then its a penalty...you reap what you sow!
I'm not sure.. I think he was going down but kompany was all over him.. had he not started to go down he might have got it.
next goal wins the title...
3-2.. terrible error good strike.
Its a funny old game :D
henderson.. red card. right call, studs showing, lunge.
incredible..good game.
the handling in the modern game is awful now. Skertl then, all teams do it... I actually feel sorry for players when they get pulled up for it because its allowed 95% of the time.. but its just so bad, not even tugging shirts full on man handling players around.
huge win for liverpool, henderson is a loss though.. massive game to come for chelsea now, drop points and they are out of it..
Very good game to watch. On the first half performance Liverpool were the champions but in the second half it changed and City looked very good. A miss kick by Kompany and that was the difference in the end.
Fair do's to Liverpool, they totally outplayed us for the first 30 minutes, then some credit to our lot for fighting back only for a stupid mistake by a player who you would expect to show a little less panic.
As they say its not over until the fat lady sings - although the Liverpool choir are warming there throats ready.:(
In early 2008 with frank rijkaard’s position as coach of barcelona under threat, the club’s then sporting director txiki begiristain and vice-president marc ingla were investigating possible replacements. A certain jose mourinho, out of work since his departure from chelsea the previous september, was on the shortlist. A meeting was arranged in lisbon…
“what happened was both fascinating and a definitive moment in the development of modern barcelona – as well as inter milan and real madrid.
Mourinho had prepared what ingla and begiristain remember to be a brilliant power-point demonstration. His self-belief was clearly intact; he understood intimately the challenges ahead of barça’s next coach, had deduced from a distance what was going wrong and had clear views on the best way out of the mess they were in. In normal circumstances the material, and the man, on show would have been so dazzling, so convincing that the argument would have become whether to give him the job there and then.
amazing to think that mourinho, a uefa cup, european cup, fa cup, and multiple league title winner, interviewed at barcelona, and was turned down, while moyes got a call from ferguson and turned up at ferguson's house in jeans to be told on sight that he had the united job
Good luck to all Liverpool fans. Nice to see another club with a look in!
Here's how I'm looking at it:- two games in hand brings us within one point of liverpool and also gives us a chance to further our goal difference on Chelsea and liverpool. Chelsea still have to play liverpool (hoping for a draw ). Liverpool aew without Henderson for three games which is a big loss for them, so while I'm still gutted about yesterday it's not all doom and gloom, yes Rodgers and co are in the driving seat but many a race has been won on the last corner
Tough end of season games for Crystal Palace and Sunderland. I think Chelsea (with a bit of Mourinho guile) will not lose at Liverpool. I wouldn't put my shirt on it though :D
I was lucky enough to be at Anfield yesterday and took my 10 year old grandson. what an amazing match and atmosphere and nail biting finish. even though I am a Liverpool supporter I still think there are a few twists and turns ahead in the last 4 games which after all is 12 points and could change a lot. Am in Turkey for last day and one of the bars will have every game on on teles all round the bar. great atmosphere. heres hoping Gerard gets his first premier title
From what you could glean from TV it looked a fantastic atmosphere yesterday. I was a Kop regular in the 1970's and never thought the atmosphere when they played St Etienne, Bruges, Leeds etc could ever be repeated but if it goes down to the wire the last 2 home games could be well up there

Good to see Rochdale have finally won summat Alf
City facing a transfer embargo.. looks like UEFA may finally get some teeth..
It's quite funny how little success they've actually had for the billions illegitimately spent..
Mickey mouse cup... we're going for the inter-toto.. we're copying you prioritising the carling cup over the league..
Champs League TV is a good 'un Danberto
Aye I liked that one..
But I'm going with Simeone next.. or AVB must be due for another job soon.
Oh dear dear dear.
Anyone seen tonight's scores?
